Get to know the riders
Harriet Burbidge-Smith
Meet Harriet “Haz” Burbidge-Smith, the 24-year-old BMX racer taking podiums left and right and pushing women’s freeride forward. Two-time World Champion and eight-time Australian Champion, Haz has solidified herself as a force to be reckoned with on the bike.
Casey Brown
Rooted in New Zealand, planted in British Columbia, Casey Brown has built a name for herself by sending it big with heaps of style the world over. From World Cup to EWS to Crankworx, Casey pushes herself and all women in freeride forward with positivity and progression running to her core.
Brett Rheeder
Anyone who follows the competitive side of freeride mountain biking has seen Brett Rheeder pushing for the win. In his time within the sport, Brett has won Red Bull Joyride, Red Bull Rampage, and X-Games Gold. His consistent form throughout the year makes Brett frequently the recipient of a bevy of top honors— like his five crowns as the Crankworx Champion.
Emil Johansson
Hailing from Sweden, and an absolute phenom on a bike, Emil Johansson truly shines with putting tons of moves into a short frame, a likely result of him riding his competition bike in skate parks. Emil was an FMB World Tour and Crankworx Champion and has taken numerous FMB Diamond wins.
Caroline Buchanan
Caroline Buchanan is a BMX and mountain bike legend who never stops pushing herself into uncharted territory. Her résumé is long: Five world championships, two BMX World Cup titles, 11 Australian championships, and two-time Olympian, but even when she’s not toeing the line on race day, she’s pushing girls in the bike world forward through her Next Gen scholarship program.
