For the second year in a row, Trek has been named to Fortune Magazine’s list of Top 100 Best Companies to Work For. The recognition is based on Great Place to Work’s data-driven survey model and the feedback of employees around the world.
“The center of our company’s strategy and momentum is people, and we have a process we use to help reinforce that — specifically, that’s our survey and our commitment to listening through Great Place to Work,” says Trek VP of Human Resources Mark Joslyn.
This year’s survey results are a testament to Trek’s people-centric mission, with more than 90 percent of employees stating that people here truly care about each other. In Trek’s Great Place to Work Trust Index™ survey, the word “people” was the most frequently used term.
We believe it’s everybody’s responsibility to help make Trek a great place to work, and making this list is a testament to our shared commitment to listen, adapt, and improve. Our journey to the Top 100 began with a commitment to survey each of our 7,000+ employees across the globe every year and use their feedback to continually make changes and improvements within the company.
“Today, around the world, in 16 of our markets, we are recognized now as a Certified Great Place to Work,” says Joslyn. “We are honored to be listed amongst some of the most admired brands in the world, and we’re proud of the 7,000 employees across the globe who have made Trek the company it is today.”
