This is a great meal to make after a good indoor session. And seeing that we can no longer pop into the store for banana bread, we may as well make our own version of a delicious breakfast.

It’s packed with good nutrition, being a great source of carbohydrates and protein as well as healthy fats and several other micronutrients to help you get that recovery process going!

Home made

Ingredients (makes roughly 4 medium pancakes)
• 1 cup blended oats
• 2tsp cinnamon
• 1/2 cup milk
• 2 eggs
• 1 tsp vanilla essence
• 1 banana

Toppings (optional)
• Seeds
• Nuts
• Peanut butter

Mixing ingredients for banana pancakes

Add in the wet ingredients (except for the banana) and stir together until combined.

Method
1. Stir all the dry ingredients together.
2. Add in the wet ingredients (except for the banana) and stir together until combined.
3. Heat up a medium sized pan and spoon in a large spoon size of pancake mixture.
4. Finely slice the banana and place 5 slices on top.
5. Flip the pancake once one side is cooked.
6. Top off with peanut butter and some nuts and seeds or whatever else you heart desires 😀
Tip: heat up the peanut butter in the microwave to turn it into a sauce like texture!
